Julie Bierman, 55, Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash at Pacheco and Union
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 20, 2021) – Julie Bierman was hospitalized after a pedestrian crash at Pacheco Road and Union Avenue in Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 55-year-old woman as the victim of the collision which occurred on Sunday afternoon.
CHP said a vehicle struck Julie Bierman for an unknown reason in Bakersfield. The driver hit her at the intersection of East Pacheco Road and South Union Avenue.

The dispatch wrote that the incident took place at about 1:07 p.m. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found Julie Bierman hurt as a result of the pedestrian crash.
She sustained a head injury and lacerations to her arms and legs after the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Kern Medical for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP did not confirm if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the area of Pacheco Road and Union Avenue to shut down following the crash.
The cause of the Bakersfield accident is still under investigation.
