Passenger Dies in Collision Near El Mirage Airport
El Mirage, CA (March 25, 2022) – Juliet Herrera, a 37-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on El Mirage Road.
On March 21, a car crash took place in the area just east of El Mirage Airport Road. The catastrophic incident took place at about 11:25 p.m.
According to the accident dispatch from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Herrera was a passenger in the vehicle traveling on El Mirage Road. For an unknown, the car crashed near the local airport.
Responding emergency crews found a female passenger with serious injuries. Firefighters freed the victim, then attended to her injuries. Juliet Herrera, a resident of Palmdale, sadly succumbed to her trauma and died at the scene. Paramedics pronounced the woman deceased at approximately 11:50 p.m.
Several factors surrounding the fatal crash remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic collision happened on El Mirage Road.
