Julio Armando Figeuroa, 26, Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Di Giorgio Road

Bakersfield, Calif. (July 28, 2026) —  Julio Armando Figeuroa, 26, died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Sunday night at Di Giorgio Road and May Street in Lamont.

The California Highway Patrol is now searching for the driver responsible for the deadly crash at 11:58 p.m. on July 26th, 2026.

CHP officers responded to the intersection after a report of the collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Detectives believe the young man was walking westbound on the right shoulder of the roadway when the driver struck him and fled the scene.

Emergency crews and police responded, however, the pedestrian died following the collision.
