Fatal Crash Pearblossom Highway Near Palmdale
PALMDALE, Calif. (May 4, 2018) – Julio Rivera, 48, has been identified as the man who died Friday morning in a multi-vehicle collision on Pearblossom Highway at Sierra Highway, just south of Palmdale, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.
The crash took place about 5:23 a.m. this morning between five or six vehicles, the report said. One of the vehicles overturned in the collision and another had major front-end damage. Three or four other motorists were involved, but there were no specific details in the CHP dispatch.
As of 6:42 a.m., two lanes of the highway were closed down as police investigated the crash.
