JURUPA VALLEY, California (July 9, 2015) — Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon when their car crashed underneath a big rig truck in a collision on the eastbound Highway 60 at Van Buren Boulevard, a press release by the Riverside Fire Department said.
The two people managed to pulled themselves out of the wreckage before firefighters arrived at the scene. Paramedics treated them for minor injuries and both were taken by ambulance to a hospital for more medical care.
Police are investigating what happened and will issue a report.
