Multi-Vehicle Collision on 60 Freeway
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (May 8, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Jurupa Valley crash happened Monday morning on the 60 Freeway, west of Hall Avenue in Riverside County.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of State Route 60 around 6:52 a.m. on May 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Toyota 4 Runner, a Mercedes SUV and a motorcycle were involved. The motorcyclist went down in the HOV and No. 1 lanes. The middle lanes were also blocked by vehicles.
Cal Fire Riverside Fire Department sent paramedics to help the injured rider and anyone else hurt in the collision, but there were no further details.
Meanwhile, at least one tow truck responded to remove a damaged vehicle.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Jurupa crash on the 60 Freeway.
