Deadly Collision on State Route 60 in Riverside County
JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (June 28, 2024) — A deadly crash occurred Thursday night on the eastbound 60 Freeway near the Country Village Road off ramp in Jurupa Valley.
The traffic accident occurred at around 9 p.m. on June 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials reported two vehicles stopped to help those involved, but unfortunately at least one person died at the scene.
The Riverside County Sheriff Coroner responded and police made a hard closure of the No. 3 lane of the 60 Freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley.
