At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Pomona (60) Freeway Sunday
Jurupa Valley, CA (November 24, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on State Route 60 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Initial records indicated two vehicles collided in the westbound side of SR-60, also known as Pomona Freeway. The crash took place on November 21, Sunday.
Shortly after 6:24 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a blue Honda Civic stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the highway in the area near Interstate 15.
Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities continue to withhold personal information on the victim pending confirmation.

According to the CHP log, a motorist involved in the mishap fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives handling the case continue to work to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car crash on State Route 60 in Jurupa Valley is ongoing.
