JURUPA VALLEY, California (February 8, 2016) — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian collision that took place early Monday morning at the intersection of Pacific Avenue between Humble Street and Morey Way, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
A man identified as Paul Crowley, 84, of Jurupa Valley, attempting to crash the street was struck by a driver and killed.
The crash was reported about 1:45 a.m. and police say the roadway would remain closed for four or five hours.
