Los Angeles Accident Investigation
At this time, it is unknown what led to this collision. Typically, pedestrians have the right-of-way, but at times may put themselves at danger by crossing outside of a marked or unmarked crosswalk. This does not mean they are necessarily at fault for a collision. Police will seek to find out how fast the driver was traveling, whether distractions were a factor or drugs and or alcohol.
It’s unknown at this time whether or not any criminal charges will be brought against the driver.
