Hit-and-Run Suspect Sought

SAN JOAQUIN, California (September 18, 2016) – A 41-year-old Lockeford man sustained deadly injuries as a result of being hit by a car on Tully Road, according to an article by Lodinews.

The accident that killed Justin Paul Funke occurred on September 14, Wednesday late evening.

As per the article, Funke was walking on Tully Road near Kettleman Lane at around 11:00 p.m. when he was struck by a passing vehicle.

Funke was found with critical injuries and was tragically later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the car did not stop and continued driving northbound on Tully after the collision.

Investigation and search operation is ongoing.
