MILL VALLEY, California — According to an article by San Francisco CBS, a Marin County sheriff’s deputy suffered injuries in a head-on collision on Shoreline Highway early Sunday morning.
Initial investigation revealed on April 9 around 3:19 a.m., 34-year-old Justin Satterfield of Mill Valley was driving a 1997 Honda Civic on the highway and failed to negotiate a curve. Satterfield veered directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle driven by a deputy.
The crash resulted in minor injuries to the officer whose name was not immediately released. No updates were mentioned on the condition of the victim.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol team interviewed Satterfield and shortly after, arrested him on suspicion of DUI causing injury.
