Juvenile on E-Motorcycle Injured in Lemoore Hit-and-Run Crash in Kings County

Driver Hits E-Motorcyclist on 17th Avenue Near Hanford-Armona Road
KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (June 17, 2026) — A juvenile riding an e-motorcycle was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night at 17th Avenue in the Lemoore area of Kings County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. on 17th Avenue near Hanford-Armona Road. A driver in a dark-colored sedan was traveling northbound behind the boy riding an electric motorcycle.
The car reportedly collided with the back of the off-road electric motorcycle. The boy was thrown off the bike and suffered major injuries.
Paramedics transported the injured boy by ambulance to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver in the sedan failed to stop and help the child as required under California law.
Investigators say the motorist was last seen heading west on Lacey Boulevard and the vehicle likely has damage to its right front bumper.
Witnesses or anyone with surveillance footage should contact the California Highway Patrol.
