Vehicle Strikes Bicyclist Near Highway 99 Onramp
Chico, CA (September 22, 2022) – Kaden DeGeorge, an 18-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic collision that occurred on the Skyway in Chico.

The Action News Now reported DeGeorge was riding a bike traveling on the sidewalk on Highway 99. When the young man approached the ramp near Skyway, he turned left to merge into the northbound lanes of the highway.
According to the article published online mentioned an oncoming Toyota car struck the bicyclist. The collision took place Thursday at approximately 7:30 a.m.
Emergency crews responded to the accident and found the cyclist ejected from his bike. Medical personnel rendered first aid to the victim. Due to the serious condition of the man, paramedics transported Kaden DeGeorge to Enloe Medical Center for further treatment of moderate injuries.
Officials mentioned the Toyota driver, Degene Dean, appeared unharmed after the incident.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident that happened on Kaden DeGeorge in Chico.
