GLENN COUNTY, Calif. (April 27, 2023) — Dajahnai Capell, 21, and her passenger, Karissa Suggs, 19, were both injured in a crash at County Road 39 and County Road S in Glenn County.
The solo-vehicle crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25th, according to Action News Now.
The 21-year-old Redding woman was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry westbound on County Road 39. Police say she was traveling at “high speed” when she allegedly failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle went off the roadway and overturned several times before it came to a rest just east of County Road S.
Paramedics responded and rushed both women to a hospital
Dajahnai Capell was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center and Karissa Suggs was taken by ambulance to the same hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
