Woman, 20, Killed in Traffic Accident on Harrison Street
THERMAL, Calif. (May 15, 2023) – Karla Juarez-Florez, 20, of Thermal, died in a traffic accident at Harrison Street, a quarter mile south of Middleton Street in Thermal.
The deadly crash occurred around 8:45 p.m. on May 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash at the Thermal intersection. A driver in a Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with a car when one of them veered into the path of the other one.
Paramedics responded and located a young woman with major injuries, but she died at 8:58 p.m. at the scene of the crash. The Riverside County Sheriff Coroner later identified her on its website.
Meanwhile, police continue to investigate the cause of the crash and liability.
