Rio Linda Woman, 73, Identified as Victim of Crash
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Kathleen Ellen Blair, 73, of Rio Linda, died in a 3-vehicle crash Sunday. Nov. 20th at Dry Creek Road and Marysville Boulevard in Sacramento.
The crash occurred just before 4:13 p.m. on Nov. 20th at the Sacramento intersection, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
Also, paramedics, along with the Sacramento Police Department, responded to the scene to help those involved.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries, but sadly she later died at the hospital, according to KCRA 3 News.
An ambulance transported two other people to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, investigators conducted sobriety tests on Joel Jimenez-Cervante, 25, and determined he was driving while under the influence.
The young man was treated for injuries and then booked into the Sacramento County Jail. The charges against him include vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence.
Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified Kathleen Ellen Blair as the woman who died in the crash.
