Katie Anderson Fatal Wrightwood Crash on Angeles Crest Highway 2
Woman, 23, Killed in Wrightwood Crash is Identified
WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2024) — Katie M. Anderson, 23, of Wrightwood, died and two others were injured in a crash on Angeles Crest Highway 2 on Friday morning near Scrub Oak Drive near Wrightwood.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on State Route Highway 2 at around 10:22 a.m. on Jan. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The drivers of a silver Honda Civic and a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time.
Paramedics responded and rushed two people to a hospital with undisclosed injuries and the young Victorville woman died at the scene.
Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash and tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol – Victorville Station is heading up the investigation into liability for the fatal crash.
