Katie Thompson, 32, Hospitalized After DUI Crash on SR-26 Tuesday
SAN ANDREAS, Ca (June 24, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in a traffic collision on Highway 26 near Quail Oaks Road Tuesday evening, My Motherlode News reported.
Our sources indicated a 34-year-old man was at the wheel of a 1990 Chevy Corvette traveling west on SR-26 around 10 p.m. The driver apparently failed to negotiate a curve, overcorrected, and lost control of the car.

As a result of the crash, both the driver and passenger, 32-year-old Katie Thompson of Valley Springs, were ejected in the mishap.
Officials said paramedics airlifted Thompson to Modesto Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver received treatment at Kaiser South Sacramento.
Investigators mentioned the driver appeared drunk at the time of the collision. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the exact cause of the accident.
