Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident on Valley Center Road
VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (May 16, 2021) – Kaulana Miller, 26, of Valley Center, died in a motorcycle crash with a pickup truck on Valley Center Road in San Diego County.
The crash happened about 1:50 p.m. on May 16th in the 297126 block of Valley Center Road, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.
A driver in a pickup truck reportedly turned left from Irish Oaks Road in front of Kaulana Miller’s motorcycle as it drove westbound on Valley Center Road, the report said. The motorcycle rider had the right of way, however, the truck driver entered the intersection into oncoming traffic.
Police and paramedics responded and located the injured rider in the roadway. Despite efforts to help Kaulana Miller, he suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, investigators will release their findings of liability once they complete their report.
