Kayla Pendergast, 32, Possibly Hurt After Car Crash on Highway 36 Thursday
Town Hill Scale, CA (February 24, 2021) – A 2-car accident occurred on Highway 36 on February 18, Thursday, the Lassen County Times reported.

Preliminary investigation revealed 32-year-old Kayla Pendergast was behind the wheel of a 2017 Ford Explorer traveling east on Highway 36. The crash happened when a westbound 2011 Ford service truck veered into the opposite lane.
Officials said the Ford service truck drove directly into the path of the Ford Explorer. The two automobiles crashed in the Town Hill Scale area around 7:25 a.m.
According to the news article published online, Kayla Pendergast and her passengers all declined treatment at the scene. Their exact condition after the incident have not been revealed thus far.
Meanwhile, authorities identified the driver of the Ford service truck as 34-year-old Pedro Martinez. Officers determined the man suffered an unknown medical emergency, causing him to lose consciousness leading to the collision.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
