San Bernardino County, Calif. (March 8, 2023) – Keiko Tuttle, 37, and Steven Tuttle, 35, both died Sunday in a head-on crash on the northbound US Highway 395 near Kramer Junction in San Bernardino County.
The Ridgecrest siblings suffered fatal injuries in the two-vehicle crash around 1:46 p.m. on March 5th in the Red Mountain area, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
Steven Tuttle was reportedly driving a Nissan Juke with his sister, Keiko Tuttle, as his passenger. The vehicle collided head-on with a second vehicle due to unknown circumstances. The Nissan caught on fire and both of them were trapped inside and died at the scene at 2:20 p.m., according to news reports.
Meanwhile, a third person was critically injured and transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center, according to a report by PainInThePass.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol Barstow station are working on the case.
