
Motorcyclist Killed in Torrance Crash Identified
TORRANCE, Calif. (Jan. 16, 2025) – Keith Cody Bagwell, 33, of Harbor City, died Tuesday night in a motorcycle crash involving a Jaguar at Crenshaw Boulevard and 246th Street.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at 6:04 p.m. on Jan. 14th, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The young man riding the 1992 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2019 Jaguar at the Torrance intersection, according to the Torrance Police Department.
The driver in the southbound Jaguar traveling on Crenshaw Boulevard reportedly made a left-hand turn onto 236th Street in front of the motorcyclist. The Honda motorcycle had been heading northbound on Crenshaw Boulevard.
Paramedics from the Torrance Fire Department responded and pronounced the Harbor City man dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 78-year-old Torrance man driving the Jaguar stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
Police closed down the northbound and southbound lanes of Crenshaw Boulevard between 235th and 237th streets to investigate the collision.
