Keith Pinetti, 50, Seriously Injured in Nevada City Crash on North Bloomfield Road
NEVADA CITY, CA (November 22, 2021) – Keith Pinetti was seriously injured after a head-on crash on Bloomfield Road in Nevada City.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 50-year-old San Jose resident as the victim in the wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Keith Pinetti was driving a 1982 Volkswagen bus on northbound North Bloomfield Road, north of Nevada City.
At the same time, a 2019 Ford F-450 truck was going south. CHP said for an unknown reason, the Ford crossed over a double-yellow line.
2 Vehicles Collide
In the process, the truck slammed head-on into the Volkswagen near Bernard Place. The KNCO News wrote that the accident occurred in the afternoon of November 20.
Keith Pinetti ended up trapped in the wreckage as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated the patient.
Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment of multiple broken bones. The driver of the Ford, 67-year-old Chino Hills resident Murray Dennis Jr., did not sustain any wound.
CHP forced a stretch of Bloomfield Road to shut down following the wreck. Meanwhile, the cause of the Nevada City crash is still under investigation.
