Pedestrian Struck by Car on 15 Freeway

OAK HILLS, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2017) — Keith Gary Richmond, 63, of Hawaiian Gardens was struck by a driver in a Toyota Prius and killed Tuesday on the Interstate 15 Freeway, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

The crash took place in the southbound lanes about 12:53 a.m., just north of Highway 138.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to help the victim, but sadly he died of his injuries at the scene at 1:16 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and will determine liability.
