Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Santa Lucia Street
Tehachapi, CA (May 11, 2022) – Kelly Jo Hanning, a 61-year-old woman, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 202.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck a female party on the highway near Santa Lucia Street in Tehachapi. Authorities reported the collision May 9, Monday, at about 9:17 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian lying on the ground. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries and passed away. The coroner’s officials identified the deceased as Kelly Jo Hanning.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 202 in Tehachapi.
