Van and SUV Collide on State Route Highway 29 in Kelseyville
KELSEYVILLE, Calif. (Nov. 26, 2024) — A major injury car accident happened Monday afternoon on Highway 29, just west of Bottle Rock Road in Kelseyville.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 3:28 p.m. on Nov. 26th, in Lake County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported at least one person was trapped in their van after it crashed 80 feet down an embankment on the side of the roadway.
Also, a gray SUV had major front-end damage and was blocking both traffic lanes on State Route 29, the report said.
Paramedics responded and located two injured people and transported them to Sutter Medical Center. At least one had major injuries from the crash.
Tow trucks removed the van and SUV from the crash scene and investigators are working to determine liability for the car accident on Highway 29 in Kelseyville.
