Rider Killed in Collision Near Fairway Drive
Auto vs. Motorcycle Crash in Kelseyville
Officials said a collision between a motorcyclist and a vehicle pulling a boat took place near Fairway Drive in Kelseyville. CHP logged the case around 8:54 p.m.
According to the dispatch, the force from the impact caused to rider to be thrown onto the roadway. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the person found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the motorcyclist sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, our sources mentioned the driver of the vehicle pulling a boat was seen dumping drinks out on the roadway. It has not been revealed thus far whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the unfortunate event.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident that happened on Highway 281 in Kelseyville.
