3 Injured in Collision on Highway 108
Long Barn, CA (April 13, 2023) – Police arrested 27-year-old Kenneth Fisher in relation with an injury car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 108 Thursday, April 13.
According to My Motherlode News, two vehicles collided on SR-108 just east of Bald Mountain Heliport Road between Long Barn and Cold Springs, in Tuolumne County. Earlier reports indicated Fisher was behind the wheel of a 2018 Nissan Maxima heading west on the highway. Due to the alleged intoxication of the driver, he allowed the Nissan to veer into the opposite traffic lanes. Officials said Fisher crashed into an eastbound 2017 Subaru Outback.
Emergency crews responded to the location shortly after the incident. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to a passenger in the Nissan suffering in serious injuries. Authorities added the driver of the Subaru also sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
During the investigation process, Kenneth Fisher apparently showed signs of intoxication. Police then arrested the suspect for felony DUI and causing great bodily injury. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
