Kenneth Law, 63, Killed in Concord Crash at Willow Pass and Parkside
CONCORD (December 16, 2019) – A man in a wheelchair killed after a traffic collision in the area of Willow Pass Road and Parkside Drive Friday has been identified.
The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said 63-year-old Kenneth Law died following the tragic accident on December 13.
The incident happened when the Concord man using a wheelchair was crossing the intersection of Willow Pass Road and Parkside Drive.
According to reports by The Mercury News and SF Gate, police affirmed that a vehicle headed east on Willow Pass Road for an unknown reason then struck the victim.

Paramedics responded to the site and found Law suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. They immediately took him to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The fatal incident took place shortly before 9:35 p.m. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Antioch woman driving the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Officers closed Willow Pass Road for about three hours due to the collision. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
