8 Injured in Kensington Crash at Fairmount Avenue and Talmadge Canyon Row
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 9, 2021) – A car crash injured several people at Fairmount Avenue and Talmadge Canyon Row in the Kensington neighborhood.
According to an article published by the FOX 5 News, the accident occurred late Friday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 10:30 p.m.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Fairmount Avenue and Talmadge Canyon Row in Kensington.
Children Victims in Multi-Car Collision Friday
One person became ejected upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated two trapped occupants from the wreckage.
A total of eight patients, including children, ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took seven of them to local hospitals for treatment of various traumatic injuries.
The names of the wounded victims and their condition at this time were not release. Meanwhile, officials forced the area to close following the Kensington crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
