3 Injured in Kern County Crash at Comanche Drive and Panama Lane
KERN COUNTY, CA (July 1, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash at Comanche Drive and Panama Lane in Kern County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:47 p.m.
The incident happened on June 30 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Kern County. They crashed at the intersection of South Comanche Drive and East Panama Lane.
2 Cars Collide Near Lamont
The report described the cars as a Honda Civic and a Toyota Tundra. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Lamont area.
They found a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. One of them sustained major injuries due to the impact of the crash.
Medical personnel then took that patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Comanche and Panama to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Kern County crash.
