2-Vehicle Crash at Lamont Intersection
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (August 25, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash at Mountain View Road and South Edison Road happened Thursday afternoon in the Lamont area of Kern County.
The crash occurred about 1:55 p.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray 1990s Dodge pickup truck and a blue Toyota Highlander SUV collided due to unknown circumstances. One of the vehicles reportedly T-boned the other one, leaving one person trapped inside a vehicle.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene to help those injured in the wreck. There are no further details regarding the number of people hurt or the extent of their injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Mountain View Road crash.
