Fatal Crash on Gun Club Road in Kern County
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 20, 2019) — A driver died and another was hurt Friday morning after a two-vehicle collision on Gun Club Road at McCombs Avenue near Wasco.
The collision took place about 6:13 a.m. between a white truck and a maroon pickup truck, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
During the collision a maroon pickup truck overturned onto its side and one person was reportedly ejected. One of the drivers died at the scene and a second person was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries, according to the Kern County Fire Department.

The cause of the crash and liability is under investigation by the CHP.
