In this case, there are several questions that need to be resolved in order to determine the cause of the deadly crash. Was the driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs a factor? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Why did the driver of the Dodge Ram pickup veer into the opposite side of the highway? Was that motorist reckless or negligent at some point?
Pending the results and findings of the investigation, the surviving families of the deceased as well as the injured and held not responsible for causing the collision will possess the right to pursue a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault party. – sks
