Kevin Farris, 26, Dies at Hospital After Crash on Antelope Valley Freeway Monday
Lancaster, CA (November 24, 2020) – A driver died following a traffic collision on Interstate 14, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway, Monday evening.

According to My News LA, 26-year-old Kevin Farris was behind the wheel of a 2008 Infiniti heading north on 14 Freeway. When the motorist approached the area near Avenue K-8, Farris reportedly crashed into the back of a 2020 Freightliner. Officials mentioned the truck was hauling a flatbed trailer.
The catastrophic incident took place at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Officials confirmed the rear-end collision resulted in serious injuries to Farris. Responding paramedics rushed the driver to a hospital, where he later sadly died.
Meanwhile, the trucker, 32-year-old Mitchell Hernandez of Coachella, appeared unharmed after the wreck.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the tragic accident.
