Kevin Harrison, 42, Killed in Oildale Pedestrian Crash on Chester Avenue
OILDALE, CA (June 2, 2023) – Kevin Harrison was killed after a pedestrian crash on Chester Avenue in Oildale.
The coroner’s office identified the 42-year-old Weldon man as the victim in the fatal accident which took place on Saturday, May 27.
The incident happened when Kevin Mathew Harrison was walking eastbound on North Chester Avenue in Oildale. At the same time, a Chevrolet SUV was going north.
Victim Hit by Car
The California Highway Patrol said for an unknown reason, the car struck him south of East Warren Avenue. The Kern Golden Empire and 23 ABC News wrote that the collision occurred at around 9:25 p.m.
Paramedics arrived and then found the victim lying on the ground. He ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Kevin Harrison soon died at the scene of the pedestrian accident. Meanwhile, CHP added that the driver of the SUV stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
