Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision on Excelsior Road
Sacramento County, CA (February 9, 2023) – Kevin James Curry, a 49-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred last month on Excelsior Road.
On January 24, Tuesday, a vehicle struck a male party in the Vineyard area. The Sacramento Bee News reported officers received a report about a body seen lying on Excelsior Road around 7 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Sacramento County
Emergency crews later responded to the location and found a person unconscious in the northbound lane of Excelsior. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the victim, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The California Highway Patrol group later identified the deceased as Kevin James Curry, of Sacramento.
According to the article published online, the driver involved in the unfortunate event fled the scene. Investigators mentioned the hit-and-run suspect was possibly driving a Dodge Ram. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the suspect in the deadly accident that happened on Excelsior Road in Sacramento County.
