Kevin Matul-Muralles, 24, Suspect in Collision at Foothill Boulevard and Tassajara Drive Sunday
San Luis Obispo, CA (September 6, 2021) – Police arrested 24-year-old Kevin Matul-Muralles following an injury car crash in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Tassajara Drive.
The FOX 26 News reported Kevin Matul-Muralles was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Preliminary investigation revealed the speeding vehicle clipped the front end of another car at the intersection of Foothill and Tassajara.
Our sources indicated the vehicle of Kevin Matul-Muralles slammed into a PG&E power pole; and hit several more parked cars before coming to rest in the front yard of a residence.
When officers arrived at the location, they found Kevin Matul-Muralles showing signs of intoxication. Police then arrested the man for felony DUI; and a warrant for violating his probation from a DUI conviction he is currently serving.

Officials mentioned a passenger in the suspect vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
