Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Gilmore Avenue Monday
Bakersfield, CA (January 13, 2022) – Kevin Bernard Myers, a 55-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Buck Owens Boulevard on January 10, Monday.
The Bakersfield Now reported a vehicle struck an individual in the 3200 block of Buck Owens Boulevard in Bakersfield. Officials mentioned the collision took place near Gilmore Avenue.

Shortly after 8:57 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the victim lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Officials identified the deceased as Kevin Bernard Myers, of Baton Rouge.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident.
Investigators continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Buck Owens Boulevard in Bakersfield.
