Kevin Robert Sorrell, 70, Fatal Victim in Car Accident at Lugonia Avenue and University Street
Redlands, CA (May 8, 2021) – Kevin Robert Sorrell, a 70-year-old Redlands resident, died a week after a traffic accident in the area of E. Lugonia Avenue and N. University Street.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, two vehicles collided at the Redlands intersection on April 27, Tuesday.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene and found at least one person with injuries. Authorities later identified the injured party as Kevin Robert Sorrell. It remained unclear whether Sorrell was a driver, or a passenger at the time of the collision. An ambulance rushed the man to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.

May 7, Friday, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Medical personnel confirmed Kevin Sorrell died at about 12:02 p.m.
No immediate information was available on the other people involved in the unfortunate event. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
