
Juvenile Inside Gas Station Hurt in Crash on Wagon Train Road
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2023) — A suspected DUI driver crashed his SUV into a Chevron gas station and hit a customer Saturday on Wagon Train Road in San Bernardino.
The collision occurred about 10:08 p.m. on Jan. 21st, according to the Fontana News Herald.
Someone reportedly shot at the motorist who was at the gas station in a 2021 Ford Explorer SUV. The driver reportedly crashed his vehicle into the gas station, hit the customer and fled the scene in the same vehicle.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department sent deputies to the scene after receiving a 911 call about shots being fired. They located the juvenile suffering from minor injuries. Paramedics transported the young person to a hospital for further treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Meanwhile, police eventually caught up with the suspect on the northbound side of the Interstate 15 Freeway. They determined he was under the influence of alcohol and arrested Kevin Williams on DUI and hit-and-run charges for the gas station crash.
Police arrested him and they booked him into the Central Detention Center. His bail is set at $40,000.
