SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 4, 2018) — A child identified as one-year-old Khalil Anthony Jackson-Bonner has died following a collision Saturday afternoon on the Interstate 80 Freeway at Reed Avenue, according to CBS Sacramento.
Paramedics responded and performed CPR on the toddler, but unfortunately he died at the scene. The incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run collision.
There were no further details available at this time.
Fatal Accident Investigation
Police are investigating this hit-and-run collision to determine fault. At this time, it is unknown which driver is responsible, however, criminal charges will likely be filed against the driver who fled or attempted to flee.
