Fatal Crash 215 Freeway in Murrieta
MURRIETA, Calif. (Dec. 16, 2018) — Kim-Thien Huynh, 18, of Poway died and a passenger in her car was injured Thursday, Dec. 13, when her car spun out on the 215 Freeway and crashed into a tree, the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner reported
The crash was reported at 8:15 p.m. Huynh’s 2017 Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Murrieta Hot Springs Road in the left lane when she lost control of her vehicle, the CHP said.
The car skidded across traffic lanes and then hit a tree on the right shoulder. The impact took place on the driver’s side door where Huynh was seated. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, her 22-year-old passenger was hurt, suffering from minor injuries.
