1 Seriously Injured in King City Crash on Metz Road Friday
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (February 19, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash along Metz Road in King City.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:34 p.m.
CHP said a Honda and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason at the location of 16513 Metz Road. They crashed near the Mesa Del Rey Airport.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found a female occupant person who ended up having difficulty in breathing as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took one patient to the hospital for treatment pf major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time remain undisclosed.
Meanwhile, officers forced the road to close briefly following the incident. Authorities are still determining the cause of the crash.
