Woman Dies at Hospital After Collision Near 25th Avenue
Kings County, CA (May 5, 2022) – One person suffered fatal injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Avenal Cutoff Road Tuesday evening.
According to ABC30 News, a woman was traveling south on Avenal Cutoff Road. Earlier reports the female motorist attempted to make a three-point turn in the area near 25th Avenue.
Officials said a big rig traveling north on Avenal Cuttoff Road struck the Lexus making a turn. Due to the force from the impact, the car was pushed to the direction of another semi truck. Authorities said the Lexus sustained significant damage in the collision.

Shortly after the incident, rescue teams arrived at the location. A helicopter airlifted the patient to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where she sadly passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The big rig drivers appeared unharmed after the horrible crash.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on Avenal Cutoff Road in Kings County.
