Semi-Truck Carrying Diesel Fuel, Overturned
Kingsburg, Calif. (June 30th, 2023) — A car accident happened Friday morning in Kingsburg at the intersection of East Mountain View and South Academy Avenue.
The collision occurred about 8:38 a.m. on June 30th, on Mountain View Avenue in Fresno County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A white Honda Accord collided with a semi truck at the Fresno County intersection in the city of Kingsburg. The crash caused the semi truck to overturn and fall to its side, which became a major traffic hazard. The semi truck was blocking both eastbound and westbound lanes. The semi truck was supposedly transporting diesel fuel which became more of a hazard on the scene. In addition, one of the passengers suffered undisclosed minor injuries.
Paramedics were requested on the scene of the accident along with the fire department. Tow trucks also reported to the scene to remove the debris from the crash in addition to any damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
