1 Injured in Kingsburg Crash on Northbound Highway 99
KINGSBURG, CA (June 30, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 99 in the city of Kingsburg.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on June 28 shortly after 12 p.m.
According to their dispatch, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Kingsburg. They crashed on northbound Highway 99, just north of the Bethel Avenue off-ramp.
2 Cars Collide Near Bethel Avenue
CHP described the cars involved as a silver Toyota Celica GT and a beige Toyota Tacoma. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel then found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. They took the patient to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 99 to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Kingsburg crash.
