At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Highway 101 Wednesday
Klamath, CA (September 14, 2021) -The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcycle accident that occurred on U.S. Route 101, also known as Redwood Highway.
On Wednesday, at about 5:35 a.m., a motorcyclist collided with another vehicle in the southbound side of the freeway. The description of the passenger car involved in the crash remained unknown at this time.
Our sources indicated the incident took place near mile marker 10.5 along Highway 101.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. The California Highway Patrol log confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. It was not immediately confirmed if the motorcyclist was the person hurt in the collision.
Several factors surrounding the traffic accident in Klamath remained unclear. Given that, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the crash.
