Kody Koenigshofer, 36, Killed in Victorville Pedestrian Crash Del Gado Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 16, 2023) – Kody Koenigshofer was killed after a pedestrian crash on Del Gado Road in Victorville.
The Victor Valley News identified the 36-year-old man as the victim of the fatal accident which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Kody Koenigshofer was walking along Del Gado Road in Victorville. At the same time, a dark blue 2008 Ford Edge was going south at about 40 mph.
For an unknown reason, the car struck him south of Peral Road. The California Highway Patrol said the victim then came to rest on the west shoulder of Del Gado.

The collision occurred on March 14 at around 8:55 p.m. Kody Koenigshofer sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed him to the Desert Valley Hospital, where he soon died. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old man driving the Ford stopped following the incident.
Officers forced a stretch of Del Gado Road to shut down for a time after the collision. The cause of the Victorville pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
